My Service Engine Soon light has been on for a while. I don't know how to reset the mug.

Did you check the codes to see if it was something serious?

Go by Auto Zone and they'll read it for free, since it's been on a while might have a couple things going on. I'd recommend getting it read and posting the code(s), but if you want to try and reset it you can - some codes throw a light immediately, some take a few ignition cycles:
PCM Reset
Turn key on, don't start car
Pull PCM BATT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment
Wait 5-10 min
Turn ignition off
Replace fuses
Idle will need a few minutes to relearn, and will reset all the readiness tests, so if you're trying to reset it to get through OBDII emissions testing you'll need to put some miles/cycles on it before getting tested - after fixing the problem.
