My Z-28 is an auto and my third gen is a M6, I bought my Z so the wife could drive it but now I wish I bought that white 02 SS vert with the M6 that was sitting right beside this one. Oh well, my car is fast and is fun to drive still so I'm happy. If this tranny ever blows it's getting a T-56 though...

i got the stick, even though my Johnson is bigger than a pencil. I too like the 1/4 mile but don't get to do that enough to worry about being consistent...autos bore me to death, i drive them all the time for work....ugh. when i build a race car, i'll get an automatic, but for my street car, gimme the stick everytime

Then I guess I'm stickless downunder

If I didn't have to jam so many gears at work each day I probably would have gone the manual way.

Speaking of Australia, I dated a girl from Victoria Australia before I got married. She was here for school then moved back, damn I wish I moved down there with her, she was hot as hell and was fun to hang with. Ya'll got some bad ass women down there! One of these days I'm going to take a month off from work and spend a vacation in Sydney.

    m6 here baby.

And all you who drive autos know that when your not at the drag strip you wish you had a manual. I here the guys who have autos bitch about it all the time.

By the way THE m6 is better for STREET RACING!!!.

Cool. Let me know, I can help hook you up with accomodation, stuff to do, and most importantly, directions to the strip in Western Sydney.

I have owned 1 manual jeep and 3 manual high performance cars and my Trans am is my first auto (though it has a torque converter and shift kit). I like the auto, but manual is always fun
