ahahaha...i'm gonna save this quote and throw it in your face later when you waste your money on a system that isn't going to be any better...just a lot more expensive. I'm planning on getting a ps3 later on also...but at least I live in reality...any difference between the two won't even be noticeable. It's going to come down to which system has better 3rd party support...



Doubt it....the game's out right now don't even use half of the disc space on a reg disc...even the HUGE Oblivion only uses 5g out of 9g. As far as the cell out doing the multi-core cpu.....you never know until both systems are out but the 360 is only using 1 core for the current 360 games.

Sorry man you dont have all the answers there will be a gap (performance wise eventually) and WHEN THEY LEARN TO UTLIZE blueray the extra space will come in handy, to think other wise is foolish

yea PS2 or PS3 cause there is such a bigger game selection, whoe cares that much about graphics anyways, its a game, i still enjoy playing my nintendo, and N64 and Sega more then i like the new games out today, there much more fun IMO

I agree. That's why the Wii has my vote. I'll take gameplay over graphics anyday.

yea the PS's have a bigger game selection...if you're into that jap RPG stuff then you'll be in heaven. I prefer shooters and stealth games...

The extra space is only going to come in handy for all the BS CGI cinematics in the Final Fantasy series and other games like that. Most games now-a-days use the in-game engine to make the cut scenes which requires a lot less disc space.

And you're right....there might be a gap down the road and it could go in favor of either system....really depends on the developers of the games since the two systems are so different. The ps3 has a lot better floating point performance and the 360 has a lot better general purpose power...games are about 80% general purpose code and 20% floating point code. Game developers will have to find a way to reverse that in their games in order to take advantage of the ps3's power IMO.

You get what you pay for...anyone that's been on sony's "online" knows what i'm saying..it's garbage. You can only get so much support and up keep when no ones paying the bill...

As far as the games...i'd rather have quality than quantity. Also the original xbox having better graphics is common knowledge...

i understand what your saying about qulity over quantity if you mean graphics then yea xbox wins for now if you mean gameplay then is ps2 as far as stealth games and shooters have you ever played mgs....or socom? mgs is the best stealth game ever. the ac line is an amazing mech/shooter, zoe was a classic blow shit up game, and ff has some the most compelling stories ever the gt line is unsurpassable as far as drive sims and ace combat owns the flight sims, dmc is one of the best action games trilogys and kindome hearts is one of the best action/rpg games. lets face it sure microsoft has the graphics for now in quality, sony has quality in gameplay for sure
