here we go with the beer posts.........on one side you have the women that drink anything named "platinum" and on the other side guys that think they're professional taste testers because they drink every beer out there no one has ever heard of or one made in a bath tub. The only cool people are the miller lite guys. That's ok.....there's more of us than there are of you.

That explains why the big beer companies are having declining sales for the first time in history...

I doubt they're worried too much about going out of business. I don't see many people walking out of a carry out carrying 2-3 cases of Harry Balls pumpkin pecker spice beer.

Microbreweries are popping up everywhere and for good reason.

There's also a reason why big beer companies are buying out microbrewery businesses...because more and more people are switching over. Who owns Goose Island and Leinenkugel?

who's ever heard of goose island and leinenflopper or whatever it is? Wish upon a star all you guys want......micro's will never be more than micro and mainstream beer will always be the top sellers. Look at it this way....you guys can always consider yourselves more refined and unique than the rest of us. Meanwhile I can pop into any store in any state and buy beer that tastes just like it does everywhere......and it's less than $20 a case.

Based on this you probably prefer a cheeseburger from McDonald's over a steak. I won't judge you for it.

I just prefer to drink beer that wasn't designed for women when men were out at war...IE a light lager...

I can drink the hell out of light beer because its like water...it does nothing for me honestly.

I don't really drink beer anymore. Super Bowl Sunday over the last few years is all. But, there was a time when I drank nothing but Michelob Dry. I liked it After it started disappearing from store shelves and bar coolers, I tried to get used to the taste of Bud, and ultimately ended up drinking Bud Light. When I quit smoking on 1/2/2007, I pretty much quit drinking also. New years eve 2006 was the last time I got shitfaced

Wow! Good for you. I don't think I will ever quit drinking, but you never know. By no means am I an alcoholic, but I enjoy having a few beers with friends on occasion. Not every night, but probably every weekend I will drink a 12 pack or so. I bet you have a few extra $$$ in your pocket now. Lol

It's amazing how much money you save when you're not buying beer every weekend
