Ticking in HVAC

I'm sure this is fairly common. Is there a quick fix to get rid of the ticking when the heat is on?

I need to sell the car and I don't want to drive or sell it with this annoying sound.

Check the fan, crap gets sucked into mine all the time.

I don't know, but I think it is under the dash should be pretty obvious. Its hidden under a black shroud.
