Has anybody driven a 2011+ mustang gt(5.0)

Modded a customer's '13 last year with 1240 miles on it. Magnaflow catback and AirRaid cold air intake. I think it also had a short throw shifter in it. I thought it sounded mean stock. I was wrong. After I installed the pipes and CAI, the car REALLY growled. Took it for a drive afterward and I liked it. Customer gives a rev sometimes while he passes my job. I don't know if he had headers installed as the car sounds downright evil now.

I wouldn't worry about that unless Ford was sending an engineer out or a warranty adjuster was coming. Even then I'd just bury the cold air kit in the trunk

Negative. Bassani header back. She's quiet compared to my Camaro... that thing was obnoxiously loud.

Yep. Anything that is installed on a car that is NOT OEM/factory, I consider modded. Lightly modded.

Two buddies at work have new 5.0s, both auto and tvs blowers. One is a daily and runs mid 10s on 20" 555Rs. The other is just a toy for street racing and alot of time at the track. He's currently running 9.80s though is about to begin weight reduction. I have heard of some issues with the m6 but the autos are pretty bulletproof.

Evolution Performance has a couple 5.0s running 8s on alleged stock autos. Shame it seems step one to build any real power is a forged bottom end or at least all the ones tbey seem to talk about are that way anyway
