White- 1998 Pontiac Trans AM
and there is no real way to check this unless I replace those hoses on the fuel pump? Ughh...lol. Im removing the cat just to see if that does anything. a lot of people I've talked to about the issue have no idea where to begin with this problem haha

My guess is you have a crack or pinhole in the accordion hose on the fuel pump you aren't seeing. Your fuel pressure should not drop like it did.
I will also suggest you don't drive the car until this is resolved, unless you want to be replacing the motor as well. You are running lean (not enough fuel) and that will destroy an engine quickly.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Humm...No loss of power in upper RPMs in fact it hauls ass passed 80+ MPH seems to love the air from the CAI and the LT`s in that higher RPM/MPH range though id like it to pull harder and faster (dont we all ) and NO no misfires at all.. Also i should have had it tuned when i put the cai and lt-headers on it. After tune (coming soon) its supposed to really haul ass...so we will see.I havent pulled a plug in a while and know thats a so so indicator of how your engines running but the tune will fix all that so no worries.I can feel that the engine has more in it,to me anyway ?. Thanks.

Cool information...I have 170,000 miles on mine, and don't know if the MAF sensor has ever been cleaned. I will try that tomorrow...thanks, even though this thread is two years old!!!! I'
m having the same acceleration issues as the original post, but with mine, when I depress to WOT, it runs great...mainly it's low rpm hesitation....
