heater core delete
I have a question on deleting the heater core and the box attached to the firewall. I have removed everything up to the box on the firewall and behind it. When deleting your entire hvac system, does everything under and behind the glove box go? I just don't want to accidentally remove a module for the airbags or some other thing besides an hvac component.

the airbag sensor component is located under the center counsel just behind the e-brake, under the armrest pocket you use for spare change and stuff. The bcm is located just behind the glove box and IIRC is mounted to the heater core box wall.

You've gutted that thing and you still have air bags?

There was a picture of it here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.
Can't mistake it though. You'll need it if you want things like radio, windows and locks, alarm, remote time delay etc...to work, if those aren't gutted yet.

If this is the bcm, this is in my engine compartment right next to the drop down to access my drivers daytime running light and turn signal.

Nvm the bcm on the right. There is another box that looks like it in my engine compartment. What is that silver cylinder?

What is this? I am trying to figure out how to remove it since it is in the way of the box on the wire wall for the heater core.
