technology a cool thing...

Probably a small thing to most but I just discovered it. My wife got me an ipod for xmas. I've wanted one for a while now but could never justify the money when I really had no need for it. Anyhow....discovered tonight I can play it through the truck stereo using Bluetooth and even still have steering wheel controls. I thought it was pretty cool. Glad when I was buying that head unit I opted for the Bluetooth unit. I never use it for the phone but I'll damn sure use it for the ipod.

My iPhone connects to my wife's Venza OEM stereo without me doing anything! Sometimes she pulls into the garage, it scares her as it connects. She goes from silence to Rock N Roll!

I wish my pioneer head unit in my truck connected as easily..

my buddy and roomate's 2010 Powerstroke with full navigation, we both have it synced to our phones, but mines set as primary lol so anytime he starts it, it will search to see if my phone is in the cab, connect to it and start playing music, if mine cant be found, it will grab his and play his tunes.....gotta love it

I gotta play with it some more.....it auto connects to the ipod but I want it to pick up in the playlist where it left off. The way it sits now I have to go into the ipod and restart it when I leave the truck.

i know how to do it with a droid, but i havent touched an ipod in years, the new droids, i have it set to start at a cetain song in a playlist just when i plug my headphones in, for a while it was funny i had it programed so when my boss's phone came into range of mine it would start to do the quick and the dead
