I like it. Looks like the exhaust manifolds are larger than the current manifolds. As for the valve covers, looks to be longer pushrods? Maybe for longer duration?

Huh,so we can tell exactly jack shit from that photo, other than speculating about a dozen possible reasons why the valve covers are a bit taller.

Just to see something a little different in our cars. Could have used my words differently I suppose. I would like to see someone do it. Will I? Probably not, because when the current Gen prices drop, I will probably end up with some version of an LS3. Cheaper and easier, you are right.

Well, that's what I'm going by. Those raises look like they are there for added clearance. At first, I thought they covered the coil packs, which they don't as the coil backs are next to the raises on the valve covers. OR...they are RECESSES for the coil packs. OR...the heads are low profile. More info and specs are needed.

i have an odd feeling (in my wallet) that the holes in the exhaust manifolds are O2 sensor bungs...so i'm going to guess that this thing is going to have 8 O2 sensors on the manifolds, possibly one on each down pipe and one after each cat that would be inline. a potential for up to 12 O2 sensors...holy crap...i hope not.

Wtf would pushrods have to do with duration anyway?
Looks more like covering injectors to me as I can't see a rail or at least not on my phone anyway
The rumor when I was at the Chevy dealer was it would be DOHC and direct injection. This is clearly not the case on the DOHC part anywayLast edited by GTP231; 07-18-2012 at 08:35 AM.
