Yeah, my car was running perfect yesterday, even after the light had come on. It's super awkward.

But yeah, if I were you, I would just wait until you get your H/C and just turn off the CEL. That's not a bad idea at all, would be kind of unnecessary to replace it.

Also, is the stupid "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light and the "Check Engine Light" two seperate things? Or does your car just have a different readout or something, what am I missing here? I'm confused
they are two different lights, idk why I put CEL but my car actually has the SES

They don't need the reluctor rings, right?

Was just talking to a shop and they said they can send backing plates in for me for a core charge, then they would refund it when I send the plates from my 10bolt in.

If your old axles have reluctor rings, you will have to have them pulled off the old axles and pressed onto the new axles. Or you could buy replacement rings from eBay or the dealer and have them pressed onto the new axles.

This is for an s60, strange asks that you send in your backing plates, they don't mention anything about reluctor rings, so I'm just trying to make sure. Either way, I'll get all this clarified when I actually order the damn thing...

I know for the 9" it requires you to reuse the reluctor rings, not sure about the s60.

I just looked at the site. Says they can machine the assemblies to accept 3 or 4 channel ABS. That tells me you have to supply the reluctors.

Well decided to let go of the GTO for then need of a truck. well here is what ive come up with:

    2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SWB-

    5.7 liter HEMI
    21k miles
2"/4" drop on 22" foose wheels
Full RST conversion (yes they made a kit for this)
    Magnaflow catback

this truck is MINT lol i love it and it will be great for a DD seeing as though the camaro isnt

On the 9" you can re-use your existing rings, or have new ones pressed on. Same with your S60 I'm sure.

I don't believe you have to send in reluctor rings for the s60 though, all they mention is backing plates.

edit: according to mwc, they need the reluctor rings
