well you can try and find the same style of key. I have also seen people weld another nut on that nut and then remove it that way.

Beat an old 1/2-drive- 12 point socket onto it that's around the same size..
Try not to hit the wheel..
Then try to remove it by hand with a 1/2 drive breaker bar..
If that does'nt do it, the welding thing will work too..
All that aside,, You can also purchase a larger "easy out" and pound it into the end of the lock where the threads stick out and try to remove it that way too..
Another way would be to drill the stud out and use a punch to break the lock out..
Then you'll need new studs too, since you'll be @ the auto parts buying lug nuts anywho..Last edited by Smittro; 05-01-2011 at 08:29 PM. Reason: added to

Sunset Metallic Orange- 2002 Chevy Camaro SS
lost my key once, could not find replacement, had to use hardened steel impact socket, and pound it onto said lugs, the impact socket was able to shave the softer metal and create a firm bite on keyed lug, to separate impact socket from trashed lug i used my vise. and never went back to locking lugs, this i did on my BMW not my SS. good luck.

Had the same problem, called around and found a tire dealer with the tools to remove the locks, charged $5 a lock.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Since my idea was already mentioned, I'll try and contribute.
If you elect to keep them/ get new ones, the locking nut, IIRC, is supposed to be the first one taken off and the last put on. I guess it's suppose to prolong the life of them.
