Teachers Unions.....Exist for the teachers...the benefits, the inability to get fired for non performance etc.
Show me anywhere in the Teachers Union By Laws where student is even fucking mentioned. You will not find it.....not even a mention of actually teaching a student anything.

I wonder if a teacher would like to go to a Doctor who belonged to a Doctors Union and had no worries about fucking up and doing a lousy job and nobody could fire him nor stop him from practicing even after years of complaints, and documented history of that Doctor not doing his job.....

Unions had their place years and years ago. Today we have labor laws. Who the fuck needs a union? For what? So you can "donate" 8 hours of pay a month to some dickhead that could care less about you or your family?

I am a union member and have been a long time. I was hurt at work almost 3 years back because of an on the job injury.
To make a long story short, i was on workmens comp for quite awhile and when i was cleared to go back to work, my employer started fucking with me with the intent of getting rid/firing me. Not because i was a bad employee mind you, but just because they can. It got to the point that the union hired one of the top labor law lawyers here in Chicago at $400 an hour to take up my case. After much ranging and a threat of a multiable lawsuit, my employer backed down. My union membership costs two hours of pay per month. What our union members get with that is a managed health care system, killer pension plan and a slew of other shit.
The guys in my union you refer to Dickheads actually look out for the little guy.

So why is 85% of the US work force non union? What happens to all the union dues when you leave after a short say in the union... They keep it (steal it ). Non union workers get their monies when they leave a company. Then how come to unions get to keep it.

Yes any lawyer would take on my case, but "I" would have to pay for it.
As for bargaining, guys who are non union engineers make 40% less than us.
Now as for unions preying on people, yes they go after business owners so that average Joe can have a honest living wages.
There were 1000s of bankers, loan companies and so on that were charged with nothing but given billions of dollars so the company would not fold.

As for money put into the union and then you leave, you get back pension payments that were taken out from your check.
