Reggie Bush - stripped of the Heisman award
Serves him right -
Does anyone think the punishment is too harsh? Or not?

Lol. Perfect.
Too bad he is still a rich mofo that gets more hot ass than he knows what to do with.

It's like graduating from Harvard and getting a high school merit award revoked. I doubt he cares.
Don't misread that analogy though, I still enjoy watching college ball infinitely more than the NAFL.

The texass suck machine down here is pushin VY for it. The runner-up feels like the hottest chick that got passed over at the Miss America Pageant already anyway. Now with the "sex scandal" and a strippage at hand they may finally get to be the belle of the ball after all.

Rob Whalen, executive director of the Heisman Trophy Trust, states. "The Heisman Trophy Trust has made no decision regarding the Reggie Bush matter."

Not enough punishment...Suspend him for some NFL games.
Roethlisberger was dealt a much more harsh punishment for simply banging some money hungry broads that cried rape afterwards....which was strictly his word against theirs..
Bush took a shit-load of gifts at USC,which is a fact. Really don't think he cares about a heisman trophy. If you want to punish him suspend him without pay for six games, but we all know that won't happen.

VY...to his credit...said he doesn't want it like that anyway. Maybe he can tell Mack Brown to dial down the good ole boy/farmer/bass fisherman/used car salesman schtick coming out his mouth.

They need to punish the agents, the recruiters, the coaches, the ADs, and everyone else who slips these kids money on the side as well. And more than the token punishments they get now, obviously there is no deterrent to these practices. But when there's this much money on the table, it's going to continue to happen. In this day and age, with the billions of dollars in revenue that college sports generates, frankly I feel that a free college education is not longer a fair trade for the top tier athletes. Yes an education in a top school is pricey, but so many people get to make so much money off of the athlete in return...

I'd personally like to see Pete Carrol banned from NCAA athletics as a coach and attendee and anyone else involved.
They tarnished an entire season for other players, coaches, and fans.

Well just when I thought I've seen the highest dipshit statement on this board, I read yours. How in the holy flying fuck do you justify suspending him and taking his pay for something he did 5 years ago? And I for one don't give a rats dirty dick if he took money or not, HE'S the one that busted his ass out there on that field raking up those yards/scores.
If anyone needs to be banned from the NFL it's Dipshit Ben or Pitbull Vick. I mean how many fucking chances do these morons need before they cross a line that can't be fixed?

I believe it's mostly a "vote" thing anyway. So why in the fuck does it matter what he did/took? It's like the dumbass from the Cowboys who got defensive player of the year, failed the leagues substance testing, was stripped, and was allowed to be in the voting again and won it again.
He wasn't raping women (shitlessberger/kobe) or fighting dogs (vick) or running over cops (randy moss) so leave the fucking guy alone.

On second though I'd do this. I'd drive my happy ass to the Heisman Award's head office, throw that cheap fucking trophy through their front window, then flip them off with the hand I was wearing my SuperBowl ring on. Tell em to suck a fat dick and choke on it.
Of all the other shit going on in ALL sports these days, this is the biggest focus????
