Fawk I just got electrocuted 30 mins ago. I was helping my neighbor replace his clutch in his truck when the trans slip and dropped down and pinched the cord powering the light. I was holding the trans still and pow. Left arm is numb from the shoulder to the elbow. Screw this time to hang it up for the night and work on it in the morning.

Bolt-on/Cammed 6 speed LS1 F-Body and a Bolt-on/Tune LS2 Vette is an extremely close race.

Guy at the drag strip was practically even with my Dad with his blacked out 6 speed SS, he had full bolt-on's and a cam, chrome ZR1's, lowered 1.5 inches all around I believe, with 315 MT's out back. Both cars were constantly running like 12.3's-12.6's the entire time we were there, Vette trapping higher each time but the SS wasn't far behind at all.

Yeah, they're not the greatest set of drivers but they do alright for average Joe's. The guy in the SS shifted kind of slow and my Dad doesn't get traction, both cars were probably capable of faster times but it was still cool to watch.

It's also crazy how different the LS1 F-Body cars sound/look in real life versus hearing/seeing them through a computer. Nice, nice cars, I can easily see myself DD'ing one in the near future.

Nice man, welcome to the club. That's weird though, maybe they improved that 4L60E in the GMT900's, I know mines is terrible, it really holds the truck back in terms of power, it's in need of a tune badly. It's really bad on the highway as well, if you need to get pass someone, be prepared to floor it because it won't kick down unless you do.

What trim do you get? LTZ, Z71 etc.
