I live 3 blocks from lake Michigan and about 2 miles from a public launch at bender park. The camper is about 10 minutes from WI's 3rd and 4th largest lakes and the campground it is in has direct access to the WI river. It's going to have to happen.

I have the entire Pacific Ocean at my doorstep but I feel no need for a boat (Break Out Another Thousand) or as a friend referred to them, "A hole in the water that you keep throwing $$$ into". Sorta like a car but with water (or drowning???) involved.

Little known fact, if you include Superior, Lake Michigan, the Mississippi river and the interior lakes WI has more waterfront than California. As does Michigan, as does Minnesota. And it's fresh water.... and you're still on the top of the food chain in the water.
I know boats cost money, but so does a performance car, ATV's or my house. Can't let a little thing like a boat scare me.

My dad has 26 foot pontoon boat and my brother and I each have a jet ski. All of them stay at my parents house since they live on a lake. The boat is a 2012 and the jet skis are a 2011 and 2012. I swear one of them is down almost every time we take all 3 out. There fun when running but damn are they a pain in the ass. Jet skis mainly just battery problems but that boat would piss money down the drain if it wasn't still under warranty.

I had a 24ft Pontoon and the best thing I ever did was sell it...I am looking at picking up a jetski or 2 in the near future tho. I miss having something to be on the water but it whatever I buy will not be a boat...

new rear really woke the car up. working out some quirks. might have to put a dial indicator on it though. I'm unsure if the passengers side axle is bent or the backing plate is pushed into the drum just a little as it scrapes just slightly on occasion. luckily I have a straight spare axle now that I can rob parts from if necessary.
