Sale of an rifle (Sig 556)
What is the best and fastest way to sale an rifle? That will still yeild decent top $$$? I am thinking about selling the Sig 556 Classic SWAT, since I already have an M4 and it serves just find. I have yet to shoot the Sig, still has the tag hanging on it. I probably will not shoot it untill I have made up my mind to keep or sell.
I would like to sell it some what fast, since I found a decent little SUV I want. But really don't want to go into my bank as I really like what's in there. I rarely shoot and mostly collect so this will probably be a good option.
~SHines (Also will probably sell the M4 later, when some more jobs come in and get an ACR)

You could register and sell it through a Sig specific forum, too. Sigarms556.com has a good bit of traffic. Post it up with a good price and you're likely to get pretty quick bites on an unfired SWAT.

I think I am going to hold off for a bit, just took the money out of my bank and bought the car (Not the Jeep). I would be taking a big hit if I sold the gun. I got a decent deal on it. I really like it, but pissed me off that ACR went down a month after I bought it. On a side note, I just picked up a second "M4" Bushmaster for $400. I hope it's not stolen, but I got a bill of sale and copy of the guys ID in case... My brother wants one and I told him I sell it for $550. Shoot straight wants like $900 for pretty much the same gun. So fast $150 for me, lol...

Before you spend 2k plus on an ACR get the original designed carbine for about $600 less. Magpul was actually sued over the ACR for patent infringement

The lawsuit related to a single piece from the XCR - not the overall design.
The XCR and the Sig share a very similar bolt, carrier and piston to the AK.
The ACR is based on the AR-18's gas system.
They're all pretty doggone good.
I say, keep the Sig AND get an ACR.Last edited by Tobynine9; 08-01-2010 at 12:11 PM.
