Omfg...one of my top 3 favorite bars. Been open as long as I have been alive. They were gonna sell the building, but after sitting on the market for a year(they wanted 2 million for it) they are reopening. Yay! not....Changing their image. And the name. It's gonna be a fucking gay bar. They said same specials, same staff, same great bar, just different entertainment is all. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. How I wish I could believe that. They have drag shows scheduled already. Never going there again. And worst part...I can't figure out how to unlike the page on facebook. WTF!! They kept same page. Great. Just great. I remember my 21 pitchers of beer for 21 dollars on my 21st b-day there. And it's all gone now.

I have no tolerance for humidity. When we visit the south, I simply go from air conditioned place to air conditioned place. Being outside is just unbearable.

I don't even try to mow the grass unless it's before 6am or after 7:30p. Getting in the Bird is a real treat, with the t tops and black leather, even if the windows are partially down it's still unbearable.

For you guys out west, trust me, it's NOT the same type of heat. Dry heat is one thing, hot and humid is totally different. It's an entirely fresh and sticky little slice of hell.
