Power wise, lower T-stat is supposed to give you more power. I don't know if I believe that. But a lower Tstat will usually reduce fuel mileage and increase exhaust emissions. IMHO 160 tstat is too cold. But thats just my educated opinion so take it for what its worth. I do know I most likely won't spend my money on a colder tstat any time soon.

Im going with the 180 stat, and i didnt mean powerwise i meant being safer for the motor.
I learned in my emissions class that the reason why some cars run so hot is to just burn up every single drop off fuel that comes through it.
And also what i have learned is that hot temps like that can cause predetonation
