I hate old house renovations and people who can't make decisions for themselves, so they let an interior decorator - who has no idea how anything mechanical works - lay out the house. Nothing but a PITA.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
Well.... it's official. I'm heading down to TN sometime this summer. Gotta figure out when and gotta make sure it won't interfere with Spazpalooza!
Really wanna put a Textralia clutch in the hawk before making the trip. the OEM thing i've got worries me lol.
Of course I'd like to put a rear in the car too. 600+ miles of driving would certainly do a good job of breaking everything in. Then I'd be able to have fun on the ride home... heh heh.

if i did all that i want before spazpalooza.... well... well there wouldn't be even one part made by GM between the transmission and the rear brakes.

Did some math....
The clutch alone would run me over 1,500 to do right.... and by do right i mean
clutch
adj master cylinder
Slave cylinder
pilot bearing
clutch release bearing
speed bleeder
I was thinking about going for the Exo Skel but with this already running over 1500 i'm not so sure anymore
sigh.

I've also heard the horror stories about Spec clutches. I've also read wonderful things about Textralia clutches. From my research it seems like the best choice. Any proof of their shortcomings? I really have read nothing but good things. From pedal effort to durability to clamping force people seem to be really happy with them.

Also, lsc. From what I've read monster clutches are nice and smooth for their power capability ($$$ too). Plus they sent me a free t shirt

hmmm a monster level 3 should be enough to last me till i'm fast enough to get kicked off the track... it will also shave over 400 dollars off my little upgrade path here since it includes all new bearings and a slave.... interesting..... any more feedback on monster clutches?

Not sure what I have... my throat started hurting around 10:00 this morning. That's not cool 2 days before vacation.
