I know most places charge flat rate on dyno tunes where I am anywhere from $300 if your having other parts installed right before the tune like lt header or new intake and have to delete egr. Otherwise usually $400 to $500. I paid $350 for my dyno tune. Hates it because it was too rich for cruising. My buddy who owns a vette shop dd a street tune for me and the car ran much better. It got better gas mileage, had more power, and since I wasn't standing over them while they were tuning it they never tuned the Tranny. Now that we did it shifts faster, harder, and runs to 6100 before it shifts under wot. I recommend being there when they tune it or they'll cut corners on you. Never trust a mechanic unless you were friends with him before he opened the shop.
1998 Trans Am 85k miles.
