Sebring Silver Metalic- 2002 Camaro Z28
okie dokie
at least i feel better about hunting for something nice. I have no idea if i will find anything i can afford, but i can try.
at least knowing I can focus on the casting number makes it easy to ignore the BS someone puts in their auction,
.
I will keep my eye on the 243s and the 799s. I am still assuming the 799s were identical to the 243s.

Well I will be taking it to a shop to have this all done since I do not have the proper equipment and place to do this. And I was wanting to have the stuff for when I get home from iraq, basically all I am going to do is add the cam heads 92/92 intake and tb is the only thing i will do to the motor.

this seems like a dumb question. I have seen the push rod checkers for sale. Do you have to rotate the crank to get each piston at top dead center? I have no clue how you would use the push rod checker. I am just guessing there is more to it than shoving it down each hole. I'm guessing you need the CAM or something in the right position to check? I have no idea, lol...
For the other guy asking the length question. Shouldn't the place selling him the CAM be able to recommend the right length? Or maybe could he call the maker of the CAM? Maybe this would help him out in his case.

I posted some information on measuring in this thread. Under, Pushrods.

Yes, if the cam manufacturer has ALL your information, they should be able to get you the right length. Still should measure your own, as its a critical component.
