i dont want this effing antenna is there any way to replace it with something and still get a signal? do you guys get what ime saying.. like new cars now adays dont have big antennas they have those fin looking things... is there an equivilant like a cap or plug or something?

for my first fbody i just cut it halfway off.. and put one of those lil things on top



for the SS, someone gave me a shorter antenna.. works great for me! and doesnt look bad.. its not those thick ones or anything just shorter.

yeah im debating on getting a shorter one or cutting it.. but im so lazy ill prob just buy a shorter one.. i just left if off for the longest.. till the world series cause i had to hear the game on the way home from work..

Sorry to hear man, my ipod got stolen from my car the other day so i know how ya feel. Glad they dident take my radio, sub, or GPS.

Anyway, i think you should just get it removed and filled in. Are you worried about the cost from a shop or just dont want to say you have body work done?

I mean. . . you can always just take it off, slap some tape over the hole and color that with a marker, lol.

yea i could see the antenna always being up as bothering camaro drivers...mine is retractable so i really never notice it..but it is tall as hell

I've got a shorty, but reception is about 2/3 what it was. It's ok, but could be better. Looks good though!

and to the person above .. ur is significanly shorter than the other "shorter" antennas ive seen.. id say its a little too short... imo
