if i get the light tower II"s, which fog light bulb will match it. i wanna get them the same color. would it be the 5500k or the 8000k. both are super white.
last question is does anyone run the 100 watt high powered fog light or does it run to hot. i dont want to melt the housing.

something really strange happening. For some reason one of my switchback leds is not lighting amber at all. I've tested it on both driver and passenger sockets and it only lights white when lights on. other one works both colors in both sides.
Is it possible that an led can stop showing 1 color but not the other???
this is really pissing me off considering the amount of money I've dumped into lights, sockets, and housings!!!

Just to add my comments, if it helps anyone;
I changed the DRLs and all rear bulbs for LED bulbs (in my case I got from superbright in US, coloured as standard).
I'd also advise anyone to get electronic flashers for BOTH the flashers (remember the hazard flasher!).
THe fronts (well in fact all of them) are better if they are "side firing" leds that give plenty of light to the sides as well, otherwise they don't light the lenses fully.

enkryptik, first you want them to blink faster then change the flasher to an electronic flasher they will blink at least twice as fast, you'll be very happy.
Second, pull the one down that isn't changing color and wiggle it while pushing in, what you are experiencing happened to me and it was merely that it wasn't making a good connection, helps to pust some bulb grease on it too.
Remember guys, these are white with the headlights down and when the headlights are down and they are glowing white, when you switch either one of your signals that signal will turn yellow and back to white, then yellow, then back to white...but when the headlights are up, the lights are amber blinking or not.Last edited by {FzS}BlacKMagicK; 08-16-2009 at 09:38 PM.

thx. was worried that one wouldn't work well for led but it works great.
now i just gotta hook up my leds directly to battery to troubleshoot why one only shows white and one only shows amber even if i switch which socket it's in.
Will do it this weekend so I can conclude this whole light crap. Superlumination thinks it's something wrong in the wiring but I hooked up a standard bulb on each side and they both function 100%

Ok, gonna give it a try.
On my list are:
2 switchbacks for the drl/turn in the front
2 LED protectors, one for each side
and a flasher
Just two questions:
Would the 30 LED tower switchback fit on a Camaro-housing
and is the special flasher for the hazard-lights required?

I only bought one flasher but I think a special led flasher would work best.
Think I measured and if housing is big as the trans am then should fit. I dunno how big the camaro housing is

Finally the parts arrived and I had the time to install them.
I tried first only with the switchbacks and the LED-flasher and it worked fine. Amber drls, white parklights and switching from amber to white and back with the turnsignals.
Then I installed the LED-protector in between in the ground wire like its says on the superlumination website. then I only had white color, for drl, park and turn. so i took them out again.
One thing I forgot: to order some LEDs for the sidemarkersI have now some white bulbs in there but they are much dimmer than the switchback. And yes, I think the 20 LED-tower is bright enough.

mine is not work correctly . . what size bulb did u use? 48, 60? I'm having issues with the bulbs shutting completely off or one one being on with the headlights on. Also, I'm not gettin the switchback effect at all, either flashes amber-off or white-off. New flasher and LED protectors installed. Autolumination (aka superlumination) are now saying the switchbacks won't work for our cars, but haven't answered my emails for almost a week.
check out my thread and my troubles:
