Fog light bulbs
Got a question. One of my fog lights went out on my 2000 TA and while at wally world i noticed that the 880 and 893 looked like the identical bulb but the 893 has 10 watts more, 27w verse 38w(brighter is better right). Has anyone installed these and run them for any length of time. I drive at night a lot and wonder if the extra watts will blow a fuse or get the light housing too hot or the wiring.

Thanks, i didn't want to chance it so i went back with the 880. I may change them at a later time. Getting ready to change jobs and have a shorter drive so i may try them after that.

Speaking of fog lights... How do you actually get them out so you can change them? Both of mine don't work. Also, anyone have a link on what the replacements are? Everything I've come across has been stupid expensive.....

I've been running the 893 Silverstars for a couple of years with no issues. They are much brighter than the stock 880's.
