    piston slap

    Hi,
    im in the U.K. and have recently purchased a 2000 ss camaro, ive read up all the piston slap stories so im not bothered about it, it just amazes me that it knocks like a bitch on a cold morning and sounds like its going to implode, but once she's warmed up and i nail it she throws me back into the seat with such force it gives me a massive buzz and a huge smile (and big fuel bill ha)

    You can reduce that piston slap w/ using German Castrol 0-30W however they don't sell that here in England.

    bene, i might try the castrol magnetec in the next service to see if that makes a difference, if not a Magnaflow might drone it out a bit
