6yr old stuck in a hot air ballon
Watching the news about a 6 yr old kid let loose a hot air ballon and now is stuck inside it over Colorado

It does look like its hauling ass. They are saying about 25 mph though. Looks faster to me though.
This could have a very disastrous ending. If I was his mother I would be freaking the hell out!

Winds are around 25 knots, it is estimated his altitude is between 2000 and 3000 ft agl (above ground level)
Kid is for now very lucky because:
1) warm day (70 degrees F) over Denver
2) He is not too far above ground, only has 4-8 degrees F temp droup from ground temp. (every 1000 ft you go up you drop 2 degrees in Celesus)
3) as long as he doesn't go above 13,000 ft he will have plenty of O2, if he goes high Hypoxia kicks in = maeaning he fails asleep and sufficates from lack of O2
4) in addition to hypoxia, the temp drops even further, now you have hypothermia = same results as 3
I know 3 & 4 are not lucky...
When/If the ballon is able to land where it lands, it may not be pretty, water = very bad, mountain side = bad, goes to Denver, into building = very bad.
Not sure I want to know how this one is going to end.

If I was a betting man, I bet the video feed gets cut upon rescue. I just heard them say the wind speeds where hes at it close to 45 MPH now. I bet it is one hell of a ride!

And they say another child says the kid fell out. But wouldn't someones kid not he held acountable by their mother??
I think a mother would know if her kid was missing.... Then they would kno of a kids in there or not

I'm watching. But I haven't heard of where the kid is.
And if the kid fell out reported by a 12 year old. Then where is the kid?
