convertible window leak
I was wondering how common this happens with convertible F-bodys mine seems to be getting worse. I've gone up to the nearest chevy dealership and they wanted $1100 to fix one side. Also the other side has started leaking a little to, if I was to fix this do I just need the rubber seals or do I need to get a new retainer too, that holds the seals??

The driver or passenger side? There is some adjustment on the window regulator to help. Do all the gaps on the door and mouldings line up? Could be a sagging door. The seals might just be glued in place.

well on the driver window its where the center seal meets the windshield seal and at the back of the center seal where it meats that back seal and idk about the passenger side but it leaks almost the same. A while back we had a chevy dealership took a look at it only the driver side was leaking and they said they could adjust it to stop leaking but it had shrunk a lot so it would only last till I put the top down.

Well then you might have to replace it. Have you tried the dealer to see if you can get just that one piece? I am not sure if anyone is making them aftermarket yet.
