Yeah, I asked to make sure in my other post later. Hard to tell on the e-netz. My grandparents are white, in Texas, and didn't get shit for aid in Rita. They had no power for a month and live in the Toledo Bend lake area if you want specifics. They reported their claims and got nothing from Fema becuase they made over like 100k that year. Some people got reimbursed for their fridges being completely rotten after that, but no. No one even went into their neighborhood to help or check damages. They had five giant oaks and pines down. Rita didn't exist compared to katrina. If their stupid ass local government wouldn't have just pocketed the levee money and if all the dumbasses would have evacuated (they had buses etc., don't argue that), everything would be peaches and cream today

What does race have to do with katrina? Because people didn't evacuate like they were supposed to Bush is racist?

We tend to believe that only black folks were victims of this disaster. I put money on that if the majority of the victims were poor whites, things would have not been much different. We as a whole country are not prepared for huge disasters. Katrina was anarchy on a small scale. If you believe that this country will continue to operate under a controlled government forever you need to freshen up on world history.

and what am I supposed to be seeing when i'm white? Fair treatment? being able to live where I want without it being a problem, other races respecting you more from the getgo. Not having to worry about being passed on a job position because of your race. OH YEAH I SEE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT MAN
