As far bush is concerned he did not seem to care much about the hurricane katrina victims during that whole situation, and his reaction to it was slow, i don't think that would of happened in texas.

i dont like country or rap music, but you cant help but to feel bad for Taylor Swift a young cute country girl winning on MTV. Its un-heard of.. Poor girl had some asshole trash her spotlight.

There were national guard helicopters that got shot at trying to help those people, TONS of volunteers etc Matter of fact I know a few people that went down to that shit hole to help those people, and got racial slurs thrown at their direction while they were looting. I hate Bush but he basically got blamed for a natural disaster. How about the fact that the state of Louisiana's levee system was shit to begin with? If anything, the hurricane cleaned that place up.

I dont think that Obama would have handled it much differently. He would have been on tv.. teary eyed and whatnot and people would have bought into it. The city of NO and the STATE of LA, with proper research and planning and putting forth the resources through intelligent people were needed long before Katrina. IF anything blame the mayor, councilmen and public of NO for not being prepared. When you build a city below sea level, you're kinda asking for it..
