Wanting Paint...What Color Should i go with ??

i am looking to paint my Z28 just wanna some of your guys opinions on what color to go with i was thinkin a mignight blue with white side stripes, or gunmetal grey black racing stripes, or just a corvette red with a black top. non of the pictures are mine

I'm kind of scared to paint anything other than factory...cuz then it wont match under the hood, inside the doors, under the trunk lid, etc.

the only way to get it all right is to totally disassemble the car and paint each piece by itself.

but if the factory color is black...it might be ok

You should post a larger pic of your car. That could help with everyones opinions. I would probably go with red. It all depends on what you like.

its black right now, my uncle is a paint and body guy so he is gonna paint it, he doing body work paint the body under the hood the door jams everyhting he is a very good painter.

"Customize" a color toned around your favorite color. Since your Uncle is a painter, I'm sure he could play with some variations, then spray it & see what it looks like when it's dry??

The grey and black might look pretty good, but I'd go with the blue and white stripes.

check #2591 in post your camaros, i think if i was picking a color this would be it. am i correct that it was only avaiable 1 year? if so thats even more reason. and if you have a hardtop [no t-tops] maybe do the whole car one color.saw a perfect silver b4c and couldnt figure why it was so different, then it hit me, no black roof!

Maybe black with a blue clear topcoat with a gunmetal Manta? That way you probably won't have any issues if, god forbid, you get pulled over. I have heard horror stories about folks with custom painted cars not matching the registrations when they get pulled over.

I dunno. I knew a girl with a Neon in that greyish-purplish(lapice blue) color and she told me one night she was pulled over and the cop gave her a hard time because the registration came up with red, not lapice blue. She told me the cop was ready to search her car.

Haha was this me? Got pulled over for my truck being listed as a pickup on the title(its a blazer with removable hardtop) Also the color said brown but its been green since we got it.

Cop was a dick about it and said it was an arrestable charge. Only bad experience I had.
