Got a lot of ‘squeaking’ going on in my rear…not only speed bumps but just driving down the road it’s squeaking bad…..before I take it to my mechanic Monday, anyone have any idea what this could be? Thanx!

Black on Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6
If you think the squeeking is coming from the inside then it could be the rear deck shocks or even the back seat. Throw some WD40 on the rear lid and the back seat and see if the squeeking stops. Do it seperatly to see which it may be. Try folding the back seat down and see if the squeeking stops. If not then try some of the other suggestions. You can even try some WD40 on the rear bushings and see if the squeeking stops. Process of elimination.
