most likely...sounds like it's running crappy until the O2's kick in. There's a temp setting that dictates when it goes to closed loop. I would have to look it up but I want to say under most conditions ECT enable is 90ish degrees or something like that.

eh, fvck...
so I just went out and took it for a short drive.
It ran like shit, just like before until I got several blocks away and it got warmed up.
This is frustrating.

Like Orion said, The o2 sensors are used only after it goes into closed loop.
Has your car ever been tuned before? The ECM uses set AFR ratio numbers for open loop trims at certain operating temps. Something is off here, and it would be awesome if you could log it with a good scanner.. ie HPT. Any buddies have it?
Edit, Sorry... Didnt re-read thread.
It really sounds like a tune realated problem. The E85 is nothing that I know. Like Frost said in a way better way... Tune for open loop table seems off.Last edited by Hi-Po; 05-29-2009 at 11:31 PM.

I spoke to the guy that tuned the car about it. He says most likely it's a failing MAF that's causing the crappy running in start up. What do you guys think?
