This is the BEST way to get what you are looking for!!!! If you have the money do it for sure. why go through all the hassle of trying to figure your combo out when someone who knows what they are doing already has. Plus you know buying from frost you wont have to worrie about you r tune...

only problem is it will be a month before i get the money. If its still there i will buy it. Do you have alot of tire spin in that with those tires?

and i dont plan on doing the work on the engine and the engine swap because im not 100% sure that i will do it correctly.

Im not against the 6.0 block or any aftermarket block i just want to keep the cost down as much as possible.

ya if you are paying for labor, you are going to need alot more money. I would really think about frost's car

At shop rates, I don't think you can hit your goals on $30k starting with a stock car in a reliable manner.

    ok so lets say......

7k for the car (depending on year, you can find some good deals)

    2-2.5k for a rear end

2k for a tranny (rebuild could be cheaper)

    2-3k for suspension upgrades

    2-2.5k for heads (AFR)

1.5-2k for cam and valve train

1.5k for FAST 92MM intake and TB

    1k for clutch set-up

Plus labor and $300-$500 for a tune. with all of this you would be looking at 400-440 RWHP depending on what heads/cam you go with. So all in all Buying a car that is already put together would be better. All of these prices depend on how radical you want to go. there are other "budget" options out there, some you need to stay away from.

    My car=

$9000 long block (stout built forged LS1 H/C)
    $6000 turbo kit
    $1100 clutch
    $1200 fuel system
$2500+ electronics (includes methanol, fans, boost controller, etc)
    $2000 rear
    $2000+ suspension
    $800 + $950 + $450 wheels & tires & brakes

I have no idea what it would cost if you paid labor to put it together.

The car itself has under 30K miles on it. I have not had it past 19psi (race gas) but it should be good to 20-21 PSI on race fuel and make over 800. The car is very strong on pump gas and at 15-16psi.

Sorry for de-railing your thread, it just sounds like what you were going to do. It would make a good model to go by if you are staying stock cubes.

so i did some thinking today and i will do all the labor myself except for tuning and turbo install(unless install is semi easy install) if taking the engine out and stuff like that is anything like pulling a V8 out of any other car it should be semi easy except all the wiring. is there anything i should pull of before i pull the enigne?

well i will buy that guys if its for sell when i get my money.

But for the most part everytime ive ever bought a car that is already modded usually somehow they fucked something up and forget to tell me about it so something breaks and then i spend a bunch of money fixing it.

Like my last car i bought a 05 cobalt ss that had the stage 2 supercharger kit onit with a high flow cat and exhaust already on it yet the retard never got the stage 2 tune and i didnt find out til like 2 months later when after about 30 minutes of driving my car would no longer accelerate until i let it sit for like 5 minutes. Why that had something to do with it i have no idea, but my injectors, spark plugs and everything that hooks up to them were all replaced and still had the problem. After it got wrecked the stupid chevy dealership called me back and told me that not having the stage 2 tune was likely the culperate.

but that frost guy i checked out his website his seems pretty legit. i would like to know why hes selling it and idk exactly why the check engine light is on in his car either.

but i will definately buy his car if he still has it when i get my money

What do you mean why is the check engine light on.....? it's not. There is nothing about to give or about to break on the car or I would have addressed it already.

I am selling it because I want to put together a twin turbo/SC'd vette in the near future that will be used for highway murder

This is prob one of the few people you wont have to worrie about this with. Also the up side is that you will end up with more for less. you will still have 10k in your pocket. i would say spend it on mods, but what else is there to do. now i know the market was better but back in 2004 i bought my 2002 SS with 4X,XXX mile for 21k, and it was stock. so i wish i could have found something like this. now i've spent about 25k on top of what i paid for the car and i hoping for 500WRHP. so trust me, this is a great deal.

That video is over 2 years old and one of the first trips out it ever made... the car is MUCH faster now, that's why the vid isn't in the for sale thread.
