BEST Heads for the $$??
I just finished up my cam install and put down some nice numbers (in sig) now looking for a nice set of heads.. I was thinking about the New Patriots that came out but wasn't sure if they were the "best bang for the buck".. I am planning on milling the heads also and port matching with my 90mm FAST intake....Which heads do you think are the best????

No offense to Patriot, but I just don't think that they are the best flowing head out there.... although they may be the cheapest. If you have the cash to go with something like AFR, I would do it.

Buy the patroits and use the left over money for a 12 bolt rear, you are just paying for afr's R and D.

Patriot's heads are by far the best bang for the buck ls-series heads out there. i got a set of NEW stg II ls6, assembled with dual valve springs and upgraded valves for $980 on ebay. they flow great, 304 cfm @ .600 lift intake and 229 @ .600 ex. best $980 i ever spent!

if you got the cash go with afr but for the price of the afr's u could get patriot's heads and a good set of shaft mounted rockers, and probably still have some change

Don't rule out PRC heads either. Last time I checked they were decently priced. Although I think their stage 2.5 ls6 heads are a bit pricey their stage 1 ls6 heads and stage 1/2.5 5.3l heads are pretty cheap.

If you do have a small cam then you probably don't want the PRC's anyways, as they have 237 cc intake runners. With runner volume like that, I don't think I'd buy the PRC's unless I was using a big/high lift cam.
