Maybe they do help a bit, but they sure did a piss poor job of it.

take yours off and see how bad your 1/4 panels get. i'm not about to get into a pissin match over it. you prove that they don't. . . . . . . .unless you pull wheels off the ground, your car does not experience nearly the stress mine does and i would never race w/o SFC's.

i never said they didn't prevent creases, my 1/4 panels have creases w/ whats in my sig. hard top even. . . .it's unavoidable, but you can minimize it.

well i have never even been to a drag strip for one. 2nd when i've made threads in the past, i've seen guys post up pictures saying they race a lot and they have no sfcs and no dents the 1/4 panels.

i'm just saying, sure they can help, i thought they did, but i'm not 100% positive they do actually help stop the dents. they did help stiffen up my car, and i like that

    good night guys gotta work..

I have UMI chrome-moly 2 PT bolt in SFC's... They tuck up very nicely and you would never know they're even on the car unless you where under it. Also they were pretty easy to bolt on, and i like the fact that i can remove them if i ever wanted to without having to cut off welds. Definitely worth buying if you haven't already IMO.

+1 SFC's have been one of the best mods I've done to date (and I'm pretty well modded). I bought the black powdercoated, weld in, 2-point tubular connectors from a non-sponsor on ebay. The price was great and the parts were quality.

The car feels considerably tighter, it's reduced a good bit of the internal rattles that I had before and my rear quarter panels don't seem to be getting any worse.

I honestly chose them because i felt they were probably one of the lightest SFC's ...it kills me to add weight to my car.... however they definitely are light for their size.

Its hard to explain over the internet... i wouldn't say the car handles better, but the car is certainly a lot tighter which i like. Its a worthwhile mod.

3 point will always be stiffer. Most of the times not needed. UMI is the way to go. Stay away from SLP please.. they sucker in the noobs.

this whole conoception about SLP suckering in the noobs is wrong.......I dont understand why people think this, because one person says it and everyone hops on the bandwagon??? They might be a little overpriced but some of there products are right up there with other companies. Not saying all their products but the same goes for any company.

The SLP SFC's are a just as good as any other SFC. My problem with them is they're HEAVY, even for a 3 PT.

I can't remember for sure but i think BMR's are cheaper in price, not sure on quality. I think they are only weld-in too.

I got the bolt-in UMI tubulars...i like them..
