If you are on meds you aren't getting in. If you got in and then were prescribed meds you would be good to go. That is just the way the rules are

I've never been much on working out or golf. One time I was playing golf and fell off the ball washer and almost broke my back.

Actually, you can request or volunteer to go out with the grunts. How are you going to say that just because a service member is gay just because they dont kick in doors or something. Everyone plays a role. I work on Harriers in the Marines, and we support the infantry and drop bombs when they get in a tight situation. Dont say all the others are gay, that will really fucking piss some other service members off...like me!!!

+1. My dad was a ssgt and he always said the biggest guys needed more of a break and more food/water. No point in being that big. He said most of the time his 40 something year old ass could run circles around them. Yeah you might be able to lift 300lbs or pack a m60 all day long but no long term stamina. Army frowns upon big people in general. They stick out, even if your BMI is within spec.

Fuckers said I had a heart murmur when i enlisted in the marines....they still let me in though because I didn't have pills
+1 on the heart murmur. I went in the Air Force with a mild heart murmur but, grew out of it. Eventually did 20 years there.

Here is another take. If you have high blood pressure, basic training and/or military life would not be the best thing for it. Day to day high stress is a normal thing there.

Try a profession where your blood pressure is not challenged all the time.

All service members need to be respected because we to things 99% of the population wouldn't do. I have worked with all branches and have friends in all the branches. But compare a mechanic and a infrantry man, sure there are some exceptions but the average infantryman will be tougher. I am a biomed and I hate it, but I chose this MOS as a backup incase I got injured and had to leave the military I would be able to find a decent paying job in the civilian side. For legal reasons I was not been able to change my occupation. But people can't say they are hardcore because they are in the marine/army. Then when asked what they I in the military, answer I work behind a desk or push buttons all day

But you still cant say they're not. I cant speak for the Army, I've never been in it, and I'm sure they went through some tough training. But me as a Marine, I know I wen't through some tough, bad ass training. Also, I know plenty of "mechanic's" that are much tougher than infantry men. Just because they are infantry, doesn't mean that they do more stuff than we, as non-infantry, do. We, as Marine's, still do drills with the M-16 and A-4. We still PT a lot, do martial arts training and so on. What makes you think they are "tougher"?

assuming all big guys can't run. Theres a huge difference between naturally big people that are built like NFL lineman genetically, and someone that is big from lifting weights. Often the weight lifters do just as much cardio.

How would he sneak his pills? They would find out about it. A shake down is the first thing they go through.

They would find out about it. Would be a whole lot worse for him getting sent back and possibly dishonerable discharge for fraud.

Always better to be upfront and honest when it comes to government work. They will find out about it. If they can find out about a $20 traffic violation that happen way back in your life, they can find out about high blood pressure and a prescription.

Don't even tell him to lie about shit like that.

Only if they do an anal search............when we were doing time in the joint we would take small steel cylinders and stash our drugs and such in it and insert.......worked like a charm and after awhile you get used to it
