well, that's what we want in an exotic supercar. it's what we've grown to love from the Italian automakers.

    Love the GT's powertrain.

Hate the look. Never been a 'supercar' style type.

well, supercar is one thing... exotic takes it to a new level. the ZR1 is a supercar, but not really an exotic. GT has an awesome powertrain and suspension. i love how it's wide, lowered, and has all the elements you'd expect from a italian exotic, especially with the mid-engine in the rear.

i don't think the GT's engine bay is the best looking for today's exotics, but it's still beautiful.

Supercar and exotic. Neither really appeal to me.

The ZR1 looks mostly like a Corvette. Which to me, is neither a supercar or exotic.

The ZR1 still keeps the C6 style which in no way is a supercar but it definitely has supercar performance. I would kill to have one either way but i agree the GT40 is sex. The owner of the local ford dealer has a red with white stripes one and lives down the road from me. I gotta talk to him and see if he'll take me for a ride

well, the critism of that is the Corvette didn't begin as a supercar....not really even a muscle car/performance car...so it's hard for it to be a supercar.

the GT40 is okay for the heritage feel, but i'd rather have the GT...heh or GTX-1, GT-1000

I'm not really liking that wing on the Viper...looks cheap and almost ricerish. I recall reading an article in Car and Driver comparing the 08 Z and the 08 Viper and I must say that with nearly 100 more hp, it beat the Z06 by .1 in the quarter mile....I'm not impressed. Seems like people are making their determinations on how much you see of a car, I'm not thinking that's the best reason for purchasing a vehicle.

everyone will admit that the Z is the best car in so many catagories. it's the best built, best whatever.

but for the design of the car, which appeal is a big deciding factor, rarity of the car, and the feel...and i think someone is mentioning something like "endless torque"...that sounds like fun

i know it's more expensive, but it's also more exclusive.

I guess the rarity doesn't impress me too much. I'd rather have a car less noticable that people are less likely to fuck with. And to have that much more power and torque and only win in the quarter by a tenth of a second....I'd go w/ the Z06 personally. The Vipers have no A/C and radio and basic amenities right?
