viper is rumored to be discontinued in 2011, so i'll probably go with the viper. i see more Z06's on the road.

Mama sez if I get rid of the GTO I can have either one. I'm perplexed.

Green- 94 Camaro 3.4
Why not a ZR1? They are the closer price match to the viper.
But, between Z06 and Viper, I'd have to go with the viper.

about $7k difference between Vette Z06 3LZ and the Viper Roadster. i wonder if the vette includes employee discount.
Vette does get better milage...13/22 compared to 15/24
Viper is just more exotic. less of them on the roads. especially since a corvette can some in base model and Z06.
I guess you have to add shipping cost in for you though.

i compared the Z06 3LZ to the base viper roadster. which i think came around to 81K. but yeah, you can pick up a base Z06 for probably around 66K, GM Employee Discounting

Yeah, saw that and fixed it. I would take the ZR1 over the Viper in a heartbeat!

test drive the cars and pick. factor in what you really want out of them too. I'm willing to bet that most of the guys on this site have never driven/ridden in either car.

Go test drive both and pass us some pics. I think you'd enjoy the viper.
