Rock chips and scratches?
Ok i have several rock chips on my doors and hood. Some go all the way through the paint and you can see the black fiberglass or metal under the paint. Im just curious if there is a good rubbing compound to use and perhaps clay? And after a good wax...but what kind? and a paste or liquid? Also it needs to be something that one can procure from autozone or something similar. Thanks for any help guys

Nothing you can do. Once it's gone thru the clear it cannot be buffed out
May be some touch-up paint might help...

Thanks goose i hear your the man when it comes to our paint. I tried that covered it up pretty well. For a red TA what wax and or polish would you suggest to make it look its best? Something from autozone. Thanks for your help.

Im in ohio but im just glad it wont take like 3 weeks. Any advice on application or anything. I know there is a tips section but just thought id ask. I do wax my car and whatnot but im not a detailing genius. And any ideas bout a clay bar. If i got one should i do that before any of the zaino is applied? Thanks

For your chips and what not. I have heard good results from people using factory matched touch up paint. Then adding clear. I have read about people doing either claybar or wetsanding and buffing afterwards. They say it really helps the appearance.
