not anything that big. I've made some big ass burgers but 5lb's is a monster. I like 'em just a little on the heavy side. I'd say mine are usually a 1.5lbs and I've made a few bigger than that. Like I say, most store bought burger has a ton of water pumped into it. If I were going to try one that big I'd probably use venison with suet added to it.

Here's what we're cooking up this weekend, doing approx. 40 halves. This picture is actually from '06 but we do it at least once a year here at the house.

Yeah, bradford county. I'm about 45 minutes from towanda, went to Troy school.

I'm familiar with Coudersport, aka. the asshole of the world. It just downright sucks out there, you're a hundred miles from nowhere.

    should've known better than that.

My wife picked up a few racks of baby back ribs to put in the freezer today. I guess they were on sale for $1.50 lb. I'm going back to get a few more racks to throw in there too. I have a couple family packs of country style in the freezer too. I actually prefer country ribs over baby backs usually. They're both good, I just like how my country ribs come out and how easy they are to cook. Tough to find something that tastes better and is as easy as country style.
I'm going to a hog roast sunday that a buddy is doing. I'd like to have given him some of my rub to use but I'm not giving enough away to rub down 2 100 lb hogs with......that'd be about my whole stash. I gave him some seasoning pointers and left it up to him. I'd like to just show up and drink beer for once but I doubt that happens. I always end up over the grill before it's over with. It's a sick addiction. I am taking some of my potato salad and my wifes pasta salad so I am contributing.

Country style ribs are awesome. Very easy to cook as well. You just have to be careful when buying them. I have gotten a few in packs that were basically just a rib shaped hunk of fat.

And there ain't shit in Coudy! Truthfully, there ain't shit 100 miles any direction of there. It is big country, but living here forever, the hunting camps are rather rediculous, but I guess living in the city would get pretty f'n old after a while.

I love our camp, but i could never live up there. Our camp sits up on the side of the mountain. we have 250+ acres with a 70 acre meadow with a big pond in it. The next camp to use is a good mile away. Here is a view from the front porch of our camp.
