I don't know about other people, but I've had mine on for over a year and show no heat-related problems with my bulbs, headlight housings, or wiring.

ok I got all three sets of Hid's ..high,low and foglights.. The low beams (while the car is running) make a horrible buzzing noise behind my instrument cluster or seems to be coming from the firewall can't tell which) but you can hear it inside and out of the car. Then one bulb goes out and the noise stops..
The high beams work fine for a while then they make the same noise. I can cut the lights off ..no noise..I'm to the point where someone is going to get one hell of a deal on the set up haha I'm tired of fucking with it and having my lights not working right.
When they work their bad ass But I'm not trying to fry anything and that noise doesn't sound nice.. Any help would be appreciated?

Another point.. a few people told me it's due to the daytime running lights. but some others with the same car adding the same kind of lights said they didn't have any problem

Hello, I have installed hidking's kits into my bird, sonoma, friends mazda 3, his sisters eclips (which is a bixenon and its kick ass) a coworkers explorer another coworkers mazda 6, a friend of a friends bird, a friends stang gt, a friend's grand prix gt, and my new dd 02 siera. All of which have not had any problems whatsoever. The noise you are experiencing is definatley not normal for hid's. The daytime running lights turn off when the headlights are turned on so you can eliminate that. Did you try to disconect them one at a time to try to find out if it was one ballast causing this? It sounds to me like you have a defective ballast or ballasts. You might halve to put in an additional relay to supply extra juice. The kit I had in the sonoma was originaly from a different seller and some times one side wouldnt work, so I installed a relay and they worked great so maybe try that first.I have a phone number for them, if you want it just pm me and I will give it to you. You can see what they reccomend to do. I apolagise for the million word post but hope this helps.

Black- 1999 Chevrolet Convertibl
Did you find out what is causing the vibrations/noise? I was looking on Ebay and going to purchase all 3 of them as well. How do you like the 12000K? How blue is it? Or should I go with the 10000k? How much did they all cost (hi,lo,fog)?
I have a 1999 Chev Camaro Z28, I cant find the number for the fog lights in the manual Does anyone know what the number is for the fog lights?

The color definitely depends on the manufacturer of the bulb or brand because a friend of mine got a particular brand and his 12000k looked pink where as mine are definitely a deep purple like it advertises its supposed to be.
Another thing if you are going to get all 3 sets of lights, GET mini ballasts!!! They do the same job and take up half the space. I like them when they work but I am trying to work out some issue with mine still.
I'd say go with 10k, I think I would if I could go back.. and the number for the foglight is 894, your highs and lows are 9005 and 9006

Another thing.,You really don't need them in your highs too... People usually get HID's and they don't even need to use their highs anymore.. The only reason I got them all is because of the price I got them for all together. haha And if if I can't get the gremlins out of my car someone can have the damn things for $350 haha

I like HIDs but if I do it I'm gonna go all the way and graft in some projector beams too 'cos I don't like the scatter with HIDs in conventional headlight housings.

For those upgrading to HIDs, I suggest you get a relay wiring harness to upgrade the wiring. Thus not worrying about blowing fuses or flickering.
