Pewter- 2002 T/A WS6
I drive an '86 Thunderbird Turbocoupe (2.3 i4 turbo). It's broken on different occassions (standard things going wrong, nothing wierd: alternator, water pump, etc).. but it has 201,000 miles on it without an engine rebuild and still going. Gets 28-30 mpg average (just don't have lead foot). Best part is the price, you can probably find a good one with much less miles for 600-1200 bucks. I love mine, it was my first car when I was 16 that I bought and I plan on keeping it because it's fun, looks nice (mines in good shape despite the miles), I put a great stereo in it, some comfy seat covers, $60 downpipe and exhaust, deep tinted windows and it makes for a great ride (seats are comfy too). Power everything; sets, windows, electronic climate control!, etc.
If you don't mind Ford, and little classic 80's sport/luxury.
I plan on really fixing mine up nice in the near future: some minor body work, fresh paint (DIY, I have a pro paint gun here), little TLC here and there and some nicer wheels. It's still my baby, and really is fun to drive. I get compliments on both of my 'birds.

I guess you'll find someone for each type of car that's had a bad experience... I guess there are lots of people who've had great experiences with third gens... not me though. My father, girlfriend, and many friends have had Hondas ranging for 1988 to 2005... none of them had any problems except my girlfriend who need a new alternator. I figure that's a pretty good track record, and they're relatively cheap, reliable, get good gas mileage, and have cup holders, which are the only things I'm looking for in a car right now.

Huh when I bought it there was......I think 109k on it and all I ever had to do to it was a timing belt, oh and the fule pump. It did really good in the snow for a fwd car I was shocked, I wish I still had it the thing will see over 200k before it quits, if it was still in my hand that is. I just get board with cars so I sold it and got a talon tsi, sold that and am drivng the ta as a dd right now

Should have my S4 soon though so the ta can sit in its warm garage and only to see sunny days.
