no... infact... i'd confront them about it because they might not even know they are doing it... i had a friend of mine do something similar and i flipped my shit on him and about took him out side... poor bastage didn't even know he was doing it... here i just helped that guy with his work to cause he was talking to his customers like that...

Unfortunately, I do that to some of my friends, but usually they just dish it right back so its even all around.

It depends if it's in good fun or mean spirited. I don't really have the desire to interact with anyone who looks down on me. However, from what I've noticed guys tend to give each other shit without taking it seriously while women will take it seriously even if was meant as a joke.

The only difference between a stranger talking down to you and a "friend" is that you know them. So let me ask you this....if you didn't know this person would you let him/her talk to you that way? I'm thinking not...being "friends" with someone doesn't give them any more right to belittle you then a complete stranger has.

If it was me i'd cut ties and move on...there's plenty of people out there that can be a true friend.
