I went to them for some hubs on my grand am, the hub failed in like 10,000 miles, started grinding and stuff. Totally fried when I took it all apart, I hate stuff like this cause you only want to do the job once...

Midnight blue metallic- 1999 Trans Am
The old saying holds some value: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
This may not apply to everything, but it fits here.
If the bearing is worn, you'll know it. It will have play, or it will make noise. They may also set an ABS code if there is a sufficient amount of play in it. I have to say, I rarely see f-cars needing front hub bearings at my shop. Seems to be a FWD thing.
If you have none of the above...
Drive it until it does, and don't be cheap on parts when it's time to replace.

I agree here. Or in my case driving from Ohio to Arizona and back, and all the other places we drive. I can't have a car leave me stranded with family in the middle of the desert. All wear and tear items get replaced on my cars after so many miles. Just safe insurance in my book.
Everyones outlook is different. Maybe some people never leave town in their cars. Do what you feel comfortable with.
