Stock Clutch Pedal release 2002 ws6
So when our cars were new where did the pedal release. I replaced the tick per monsters recommendation (it was killing my leg). They claim stock is better but the release is pretty close to the floor. I hate that. Want it half way up.

Tick is the only one I know that has an adjustable mc.

Monster clutches and I recommend stock. There now you have 2. For a daily driver tick sucks. My left leg is twice the size of the right leg due to tick.
Does the clutch MC determine how far the pedal comes up. Does not look like there is a stop.

John I'm disabled in both legs and I still have no issues with my Tick using the Monster stg 4 I had or now the SPEC 3+.
The adjustment of the Tick moves the pedal into position you want as far as height but not the engagement window or pressure.
Tick mc is slightly more firmer throughout the shifting than stock.
It could be your slave is going out.

Tick
Doubt you drive it in traffic. Monster told me they recommend a stock MC. My new 455 hp ss is smooth and easy like a stock transam

also, on adjustable MC's you can over adjust it and f'up your clutch. Steve at monster talks about how important the slave to finger clearance is. Most people just throw the parts together. If you dont measure and adjust the save you are screwed.

I drive mine 2-3 days during the work week (when it's not broken
)and in heavy stop and go traffic. We have a tunnel and a 8 mile long bridge that if an accident happens it turns into a parking lot. Which mostly happens every Apr - Sep every day, every year.

Yes, you can over adjust it but in order to do that your adjustment would have to be way off. You extend the eye bolt end out and then lock that end in place....then you adjust at the MC side. The clutch pedal should be at about the same height as your brake pedal.
Clutch disengagement is set by the slave cylinder and pressure plate relationship.
You make the MC adjustment until the clutch shifts smoothly through the gears, and releases properly. That's it.
The clutch should engage right off the floor.
If you like it to engage higher, that means your car will be shifting much slower than others. The engagement is when the pedal is coming back up off the floorboard. As soon as that pedal comes off the floorboard the clutch should engage.
If you're referring to the release of the clutch, meaning pressing the pedal down, then that is controlled by the volume of fluid you're pushing through to the slave cylinder to release the clutch.
Sent from my SM-G955U using TapatalkBoost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
