Corvette rims
Hello everyone..
I've got a question about the Z06 rims.. Will they fit on my camaro without having to do anything or will I have to modify??

it's all based on the offset size you get, tires, and rim width.
18x9.5's fit all around.
18x10 i think is more for the back wheels
and you can use a 275 tire to not have to do the BFH mod to the rear fender well.
and i think most people get a +54 to +56 off set with no problems.

they are 18 X 9.5 all around.. and the offset is 56. I know the back will fit no problem. Im more concerned about the front.. Is there enough clearance for turning.. What size tire would work best for it to be able to turn?

from my understanding they fit well. i have a set at home in the garage, i just havent' gotten back from iraq yet to put them on. with that offset, most people run 275/35s with no rubbing problems. you may even beable to run a 275-40. here is a good site to use for finding out tire specs. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

when i got my z06 wheels i was runnin 275/40s in the front...now there was a little rubbing but i got spacers and that problem was solved. in the back i got 18x10.5 and they're awesome! wouldnt have it any other way

I hear spacers are bad.. they wear out your tires and can bent your rim from riding off center

can you post some pics of the 245 40's that's what i just ordered... i've got 245 50 16's on there now, and all the diagrams/calculators i found find the 18's to work out good. just interested to see how they look.

Nankang.. they were $100 a piece.. so i couldn't argue with that. i didn't want to spend $600+ on tires.
