    Temperature gauge not working.Help!

I installed new plugs and wires yesterday, and cranked the car up and it ran fine then as i was driving I noticed the temp gauge on the dash not working. Then when I got home I shut the car off looked under the hood for maybe a wire or something loose or tore and did not see one. Then I tried to crank the car and it acted like it was flooded or something not wanting to crank. Finally I cranked it and the engine light came on. Im thinking maybe a temp sensor or something simple. Any help would be appreciated.

    Yup.
    Temp sensor probably not connected.

It is on the driver side head near the front plug.
