oil pressure high, normal?
I've already asked a few this, but I wanted to ask more. I just noticed that my oil pressure at idle is right above 40psi, and if im cruising at about 1500 rpms, the pressure is right below 60, and at 2,000 rpms, it's at 60. is this normal? I run castrol syntech blend, and i am up for an oil change, and im going to switch to mobil 1.

amsoil here and that sounds regular. check out compsyn in the sponsor section. a case of 12 qts with a preferred membership cost the same as 12 qts of mobil 1 in autozone. quick delivery. and about 25% discount for preferred members. personally mobil 1 didnt work well with my car.

Please read up on the oil you decide to go with. This site alone is one of the best sites for oil information. Hands down.
Royal Purple should be the last oil you choose. Check out of site sponsor for Amsoil. That is great oil and you can get a discount by signing up for a preferred customer account.
