305 TPI 700-R4 TV/detent cable
My buddy has a 1987 IROC-Z, 305 TPI, 700-R4. He's having trouble adjusting the cable for proper shift points. I never had this problem with my 700-R4, so I am of no help. Anybody have any advice on where the shift points need to be? BTW this is a bone-stock 305, so whatever the stock configuration is will probably work best.

it may not be the TV cable. the governor does more to set shift points that the TV cable. should be shifting around 4900 rpms.
